It is hard finding time to evaluate potentially useful plugins.  I'm not
sure what the answer is.  Maybe a way for the community to vote somehow
to indicate the popularity (and presumably utility) of plugins.  There
are, for example, three or four that provide some Gantt chart function
but none served my need so I created my own.  That has now rallied a few
developers who are helping me make it better and better while the others
don't seem to have changed in a very long time.  But it it sometimes
hard to tell stale from stable based just on last update date.
