It is a fact that your changes will not be committed into /trunk . That
except block is there for a very good reason ;)
The real issue is caused by TracForgePlugin and therefore should be fixed
in there . If you are hoping to rely upon a long-term solution then my
suggestion for you is to create a new ticket for that plugin via
trac-hacks.org . OTOH , in the mean time you might choose to maintain and
continue using your patched copy , but beware of the fact that such a
modification could lead other issues ( ... which btw would be a bit hard to
debug) .
