As support for VersioningSystemBackend has been made more modular,
this could now be implemented as a plugin (even more so after the upcoming
VcRefactoring).
As there's little chance that the TracTeam will work on that, I think we
can close
the ticket as ''won't fix''. However, if such a plugin gets written, it
would still
be nice to mention it on this ticket.
Another reason for reopening this ticket (in case such a plugin gets
written)
would be to request specific changes in the
["TracDev/VersionControlApi" version control layer],
to enable or improve support for that system.
