I vote for removing the tag from the header also. There is no need for it.

I believe the perception is that having [Trac] in subject of the email allows 
for email filtering. However, this is very bad way to filter out emails you 
want from emails you don't want (e.g. spam). Anybody with an email client can 
send an email with [Trac] in the subject line, and the email filter would then 
consider the email to be non-spam. This is obviously not what is required.

If anybody wants to filter out emails from this distribution, so that they 
don't get handled as spam emails, then they MUST check the sender email address 
to see if is is [EMAIL PROTECTED] There is therefore no need to check the 
subject line of the email for any special text such as [Trac].

Is ther a voting on that? If there where one, I'd second that.
[TRAC] in a trac mailing list is a mere tautology. Maybe s.o.
could explain to me what it's even good for?
