I tried using two spaces, and 4, and that doesn't seem to make a
difference.
Again, if I go to the default welcome wiki page, as it ships by
default, the list which includes:

== Starting Points ==

 * TracGuide --  Built-in Documentation
 * [http://projects.edgewall.com/trac/ The Trac project] -- Trac Open
Source Project
 * [http://projects.edgewall.com/trac/wiki/TracFaq Trac FAQ] --
Frequently Asked Questions
 * TracSupport --  Trac Support

That list works fine, I can edit the text of an entry, but if I move
that list too somewhere else on the page.. Or if I edit the initial
space on one of the lines, it treats it as a line of text, rather than
a bullet.

Here is a sample of how it looks-

Normal: http://www.sq7.org/temp/Picture%201.png
If I place my cursor to the left of the asterisk, press delete then
space (Which should have no effect)

(While this picture is in the draft view, it makes no difference if I
accept it, or just leave it in draft view.)

Thoughts welcome, I'm a bit puzzled.
