you can review the base project, which produces and multi-project infrastructure based on trac: http://dev.lazaridis.com/base It adresses mainly two use-cases: * small and medium size projects which like to host on an own infrastructure, but want to reduce administration and maintenance effort. * small and medium size hosting services, which like to offer trac-hosting with low administration and maintenance effort.
