Yep because in fact I simply don't use IIS to run Trac,
but what stoped me was not Python being slow.

Sure, at first, I tried it on IIS, but I have been stuck
with the Trac login page not keeping the credentials,
IIS seemed to be confused with that and having clean URL
(using ISAPI rewrite), or perharps it was me not doing things right.

So I went the way of using Apache to run Trac,
and using the reverse proxy feature of Apache to connect it to IIS,
and with that kind of setting all become much more simpler
and it allows you to have trac.domain.com running Apache+Trac and
www.domain.com running IIS6+.NET etc.
the best of both world imho

I'm sorry I can not really give more details right now
(I'm just on a laptop with a 56k modem), but as soon
as I can document all this I will :).

For the setting you can find on
http://lazutkin.com/blog/2006/feb/18/setting-tools-windows/
I didn't try it yet, I will surely try it carefully for my own server

but as much I'm sure I can convince an IIS admin to run Apache
in paralelle of IIS to handdle a subdomain so they can use Trac,
as much I will receive a plain "no way we're doing that" if I start
to tell them they have to hand-edit DLLs.
