You can unzip Trac without install it, and play with the PYTHONPATH to the good site-packages.
On my server, I have one user/profile by Trac version, and everything (one python, one sqlite, one clearsilver.....) are in /home/trac_user/Trac (and another one in /home/trac_user2/Trac)

Hi,
How do I run, say, both 0.9.6 and 0.10 on the same machine?
(Installing one version will overwrite the python/site-packages and
/usr/share/trac directories). A bigger problem I see is with the
dependencies.. i.e. version of pysqlite, svn bindings etc.
Has anyone tried this and succeeded?
