I'm not looking to create a new syntax. Trac recognises various user-entered syntaxes for changesets - [1], r1, etc. But whenever Trac itself inserts a link to a changeset (such as on the Timeline or the Revision Log), it always does so using the [1] format. Rather than this being hard-coded as it appears to be, I would like it to be configurable, so that I could choose to have such links displayed in the r1 format instead.
