I should have specified, for now I am just using tracd -- I am not using trac via a web server. The LD_LIBRARY_PATH is setup the same way as it is for trac-admin, which successfully accesses the repository. Since my first posting I have tried to compile clearsilver without compression (no dice) and even upgraded to 0.11dev (latest trunk) using Genshi. I get the same error.
