A lot of the pages listed in http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracInstallPlatforms are quite out of date, so one possibility for you would be to pick the one matching your platform and simply update it. If the changes you have in mind are about the general install pages, feel free to discuss the planned changes here /or/ to make the changes directly in the wiki, as you wish.
