quick questions (more waffle for each question below):

1) is there any way of customizing what you get when you click "View
Tickets" with reports disabled?

2) http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracReports has suggested that the
"report" module is being phased out, but is this still true

question 1) background
--------------------------------
is there any way of customizing what you get when you click "View
Tickets" with reports disabled?

/We're using trac (multiple tracs - one trac-per-project) have been for
well over a year now. Although we desperately need cross-trac reporting,
we still love trac. /*Hurrah for trac. Thanks very much.*/
/
As per the note in http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracReports - we set it
up with reports disabled and are can report ourselves content with the
query interface.

however there's one thing you really lose with the reports disabled -
you have no control over what happens when you click "view tickets".

Of course (as per http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/1594#comment:1) we
have lovely links to different queries which we put in various places on
the wiki, but nonetheless, the "obvious" way of looking at tickets is to
click the "view tickets" tab.

What would be fantastic would be a way of customizing what you see when
you click view tickets tab - from my searches I don't believe there is.
In fact I don't believe one can remove the tab either.

Ideally one could just create a magically-named wiki page (like errr
ViewTicketsTab or something) and then hey presto that would be shown
instead of the default query (which is more like "My Open Tickets" -
very useful, but not always what you want people to see immediately)

question 2) background
------------------------------
is the report module truly being phased out in favour of query?

how many tracs, how many trac developers have a trac with reports turned
off?

e.g. http://trac.edgewall.org still uses it,
and report module is still being developed, e.g. see
http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/1735 despite
http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/1735#comment:3 b

thanks

Tim
