I dunno why PHP would have anything to do with it. I have 
php-4.3.9-3.22.4, along with php-ldap, php-mysql, php-pear all matching, 
and php-pecl-sqlite-1.0.3-1.2.el4.rf . But I don't see how PHP matters.
