I'm trying to get the commit comments into the Trac ticket. I've read this similar thread

I'm running Trac 0.10.4 and svn 1.4.4 on WindowsXP. I know nothing of Python until installing and administering Trac with this latest effort. I've installed the trac-post-commit-hook.0.10.3.cmd and .py into my svnRepository/hooks directory. I edited the .cmd file with my Trac env settings. Then I tried commiting a change to see if the comments showed up in the Trac ticket. They did not. Did I need to restart anything? The other thread mentioned making the scripts executable by Apache. I assumed that was only for Unix. Was that wrong? Do I have to somehow make it executable by Apache in windows?
