Hi Rainer I suppose what would be the perfect solution is for the front page of the site to not show the wiki in the main window, and users who have the ability to read the wiki can click on the Wiki link in the top navigation.
Users who don't have the ability to read the wiki won't see a Permission Denied error then on the front page. We'll put our own text into that area. I'm just not sure what files I need to edit in order to do that. Thanks for your help with this Rainer. matt On 9 Oct 2007, at 09:31, Rainer Sokoll wrote: > > On Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 09:16:43AM +0100, matt davies wrote: > >> In the interim though, I've been asked to remove the Permission >> Denied to the wiki message that comes up when a member of a group who >> isn't allowed to see the wiki logs in. > > What do you want to achieve? > Should everyone have access to the wiki pages? > Then you can use trac-admin to do so. > Or do you want the wiki pages to stay secured? > Then change default_handler in trac.ini to whatever you want - but not > to WikiModule, of course. > > Rainer > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
