Hi, Needing to get svn up and running and getting familiar with it I discovered trac which appears to give an easy method to access svn.
Being new to both I decided to take what I assumed to be the easiest path by using yum to install both. I got as far as using tracd and then browse it on port 8000. It installed 0.10.2 of trac but I have not been able to overcome the Authentication barrier. I would prefer not to have any login requirements, at least while configuring it. Anyway the short of it is that after chasing through various writeups I've not been able to get authentication to work one way or the other. It does not even pop up with a login prompt. So I'm wondering if the census is that I should manually compile and install vs using yum on FC4? Is it just me messing it up or are there issues with the yum version for FC4? I would prefer to use tracd and sqlite. Currently I only have one project that I want to get on svn, but could reasonably have more. I also know there are lots of details I've not shared at this point but until I find out if I'm on the right trac :) I thought I'd keep the volume down. Please show me the light! :) -- Bobby --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
