Millard, It's been many years since I installed/configured/used Bugzilla so features may have changed, but IMO the "killer" feature Trac has over Bugzilla is the seamless ticket-subversion-wiki integration. At the time, we cobbled together Bugzilla, CVS, TWiki and some scripting to accomplish some of this integration, but it was a pain.
Trac has it's installation pains, as witnessed on this list, though I've had none myself after several installs on several unix OSes. YMMV. I'll admit that Bugzilla has (had) better multi-project capabilities, multi-project access control, and dependent ticket support, but these are either specific design decisions for Trac (i.e., lack of first class multi-project support) or are changing with more recent releases of Trac (we're still on 0.9.5 at my work). And Trac's extension point/plugin architecture makes customization easier and more stable than patching Bugzilla perl scripts. Again, just my opinions. Good luck with your investigation, Doug On Nov 30, 2007 9:38 AM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I have some data I can send to you from our evaluation ... for us ... the > big thing was the ability to integrate trac with subversion and cabie so > that the Tickets could be seen in each phase of the SDLC.
