It uses same pretty much same format as xml-rpc plugin but it's formatted in json. So basically you push strings like ["ticket.new", ["my summary"]] for example by using ajax calls. Basically I did that for two reasons: one to provide simple ajax-json interface to tickets so I could provide nice forms for customer. And second is that it's simpler in many cases than xml-rpc. I can provide egg's/sources/instructions if anyone is interested in test go. > Daniel Hahn > Twin Techs - Senior Systems Engineer > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > 509-416-2136 > www.twintechs.com > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Jani Tiainen > Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2008 10:45 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Trac] Re: way of using a form to create tickets > > > Daniel Hahn kirjoitti: >> I may have missed this or used the wrong keywords in my searches. >> >> I am looking to have a user filled form that will create tickets upon >> submission. >> >> Using Trac .11 on Windows 2003 server, Python 2.4 and apache as the web >> server. > > Another alternative could be using (still unofficial) json-rpc extension > to xml-rpc. > > It would be nice to get someone to actually test that... :) > -- Jani Tiainen --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
