Brian I do have it working. They aren't mutually exclusive and you do need to install the elements that are mentioned at the top of the wiki page I pointed you to. The one thing I have noticed is that svn does not like you using Trac permissions in its auth file, so currently I have a seperate authz_policy and svn auth file. Otherwise, it all works fine.
