Trac *does not* translate anything. It's the SSPI and Windows domain
thingy that provides the 'prepended' domain name...

I'm afraid you'll have to either write a plugin to translate
Windows-user into SMTP-user names, ask your users to fill in their
email address in the Trac preferences dialog, or use a
non-Windows-plagued authentication back end (maybe Ldap authentication
against an Active Directory server, for example) ;-)

Maybe the SSPI module can filter out the domain name w/ some option ?
