Hi all, I think I know the answer, but I am sure someone smarter than me has already done this, so I'd like to glean a little wisdom if possible.
As noted in my other needy posts, I have Trac on windows with windows Authentication via SSPI on. I have it all running peachy and am happy with it. My final hurdle is configuring subversion access. For my purposes, if a user has access to a repo, they have full rw access, which makes it easier. What I am a little unclear about, is how to limit users to specific repo's. I have some core users, who really should just have access to all of them. I have no problem adding them to each project individually, if that is what is needed to achieve the following: some users only should have access to specific repo's. I plan to use authentication against groups on the server, and am confident i can get that to work. what I am less clear about is if I can create 1 group for the "all access" folks, and configure them to have acess to all repo's, while still limiting individuals (or I suppose "other" groups) to specific repositories. I "think" I could create one <Location> definitions, which is top level, and give the "all access" group privledges there, with the SVNParentPath directive at the top-level to say c:/repos/ then create individual <Location> definitions for the repos which additionally need users from the secondary category. Anyway, if anyone has some insights, would appreciate it, until then I am going go give it a whirl and see if I can bring down the DarpaNet! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
