Hi Edgewallers and Trac users,

First of all, thanks for this great software that is Trac. I have been
using it for several projects and I really buy into its simplicity :)

And that's actually why I would like others to use it.

I am leading the DITA-OP open source project (http://www.dita-op.org)
which goal is to provide a complete platform to author, manage and
produce DITA sourced documentation.

So far we have a first milestone which features an Eclipse based
editor and we plan to offer a server platform to manage authoring
process, integration with CMS and continuous documentation build.

Trac and Bitten seems the perfect match to me, so I would like to
package a "turn-key" solution including Trac, Bitten and their
dependencies. Now I got the following questions for you:

 1. I hope you don't mind we do this :)
 2. I am not a Python literate, thus I would like to know if you have
any recommendation for me

The goal is to have something as smooth and easy to install as
possible.
Ideally the best would be something that would automatically download
and install everything needed, that way we would not have to keep our
own versions of Trac in our repository.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Kudos,

Claude Vedovini
