I'm running trac 0.11.1 under Apache 2.2.8 and trying to use Kerberos for
authentication so my trac users don't have to remember or maintain multiple
passwords. When I click Login in trac, I get a login dialog where I put a name
and password and the log in succeeds but if a user types "bob" in the user name
field, he gets logged in to trac as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". I don't want to have
to put the domain name in our trac user list or have to reassign to [EMAIL
PROTECTED] Can I have trac somehow strip the local domain form whatever user
name is passed it by the web server authentication? Or have Apache or Kerberos
do it for me? Any pointers appreciated. Thanks.
