I would prefer it to not redirect and use the root directory.
Wouldn't a rewrite break the other trac addresses also? For example,
rerwriting / to /trac/cgran would be fine, but what if someone tried to
address /trac/PROJECT, it would rewrite that to /trac/cgran/trac/PROJECT ?
