Trac, like all webapps, has no sense of time. Things like this must be done
with an external script called from something like cron. You can add a
custom field (see the datefield plugin) or possibly use the due date of the
assigned milestone. See the TracDev/DataModels wiki page for a brief
overview on the Trac model API.

Is it possible to somehow set a deadline date for tickets, and then have the
priority of the ticket increase as it gets closer to the deadline?
