Hu

Rename the .csv to .txt and open it in Excel via the file-menu (not drag&drop).
Then Excel allows you to decide, what delimiter to use and so on. That's the
way we're doing it.

Betreff: [Trac] Excel Report/Export plugin. Which one is current?

Hi,

I am new to trac and an important feature is to be able to easily open reports
in excel or export reports to excel.

The csv should be ok, but excel doesn't parse the trac csv at all, it just show
text. the tsv is not associated with excel by default, which is a problem for
clients. Is there an easy fix here? Using trac 0.12.

I also found a lot of links on excel report plugins. Am I correct to say this
one:

http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/ExcelReportPlugin

Is the most current? Anybody has info on how it's working with 0.12, python 2.5?

Thanks!
