Hi chaps,

I'm trying to hunt down an odd issue with our track sites on our new linux box
suddenly returning an internal error until someone restarts apache.

One thing I have noticed in the error.log is lots of these

[Thu Jan 15 12:29:16 2009] [error] [client MYIP] user administrator not found:
/project1/chrome/common/xml.png, referer:
https://trac.mydomain.com/trac/project1/report/1

There is one of these for what seems to be every item on a trac page. If
john.bloggs accesses a trac site then you get lots of those errors relating to
john.bloggs etc. However, while these errors are in the logs there no apparent
issue on the page, the items still show on the page as though nothing is wrong.

The authentication on the sites is done via LDAP, and that works (users can
only access a trac site if they are in a certain group).

My question really is what may be causing trac pages to generate a "user not
found" error even when the user has been authenticated quite happily ?

Olly
