I do not use it :-) - But I tested it.

Works as expected for me - as you do, I use basic auth over HTTPS.
I am not sure how the link to the calendar looks like in 0.11.1, mine
looks like:
https://trac.example.com/<trac-env>/roadmap?user=auser&format=ics
