Sorry, I had tried "PythonInterpreter main_interpreter" and it didn't help, as I mentioned in my e-mail. So, I tried switching to "trac" which is when I posted to the mailing list. I have a mod_python version after 3.2.8, which the comment suggested in comment 1.
