Hello. When I make SVN commits, how does Trac recognize this?
I mean after a SVN commit the new "change-set" is presented in Trac in the "Browser Source" and the "Timeline". This is great, but how does it work? A SVN post-commit hook script does not exist on my server. This was my guess, seems there is another mechanism. I know that Trac can be told to manually sync with the SVN repo i.e. with "trac-admin resync". Does Trac some resync in regular intervals also in background or how does it work? My question is probably a little naiv, I searched the mailing list and the web but could not get a clue. The background for my question is that I from time to time modify existing SVN commit messages (add more details or fix typos). However these modification to the SVN messages seem not to be recognized by Trac. What can I do about it? At the moment my only workaround is to setup a cron job to run "trac-admin resync" once a day or so. best regards Clemens --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
