By dropping the directory check, we're removing the false positive case 
mentioned at the beginning of this thread.
Also, I think that if you end up using a different repository having the 
same uuid, be it at the same or a different location, it can't be by 
accident. So yes, I don't think we lose anything by removing the check 
on the directory. But I wouldn't change anything on 0.11-stable at this 
point, this is just to keep in mind for multirepos, if we have the 
occasion to improve things there.
