I thought the setup.py step made an egg in my python library. The update
of any given trac requires a later running of 'trac-admin update', right?

And yes, it is for a production environment. Of course, I made a backup
copy of the trac part. I did not keep the previous trac egg. I am
guessing it is still there.

(Guess what: I am rather python naive. I am a Tcl sort of scripter...)
