Hello List, just to update this post, the show stopper with RSS in Safari seems to be TracAccountManager, to be exact acct_mgr.web_ui.loginmodule. With trac.web.auth.loginmodule everything works find, but from a user's perspective not being able to manage his or her account data or even registering a new account is quite uncomfortable - when there is no centralized account management interface available.
When the site is reconfigured to use HTTP-based authentication through the web server, the feeds get displayed. Somehow, Safari cannot use the links to RSS feeds which are generated when the TracAccountManager- Plugin is activated. At the moment I see no solution how to use HTTP-based authentication for RSS feed URLs (those with format=rss attached as parameter) while TracAccountManager is activated, even if only wanted for permission management - with Trac 0.10.5 and TracAccountManager for 0.10.x. Somebody knowing if this has changed in 0.11 and upwards? That Safari does not and Firefox does work (with TracAccountManager) is like no argument in a Mac-only shop :( Regards, Frank Am Jul 29, 2009 um 11:52 PM schrieb Frank Scholl - Xpoundit.com: > > Hello, > > I have an installation of Trac 0.10.5 installed from OpenBSD packages > running.
