Ok so after a bit more testing I get the same result with Trac 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5 ... Even with previous (working) databases and new empty ones.
Also testing on OS X 'desktop' apache with a real digest AuthUserFile... Same result: Authenticated users still showing up as 'anonymous' in Trac. Anyone else experienced this?
