I don't think it is supported. In my experience, Intertrac links are helpful for when you need a shorthand to refer to, say, tickets in another environment (e.g. [th:ticket:1] is easier to type than http://www.trac-hacks.org/ticket/1). I suppose it would also be useful in the case that you moved the remote Trac instance, since one global change would change all the links that point to a resource.
