Hi Ray, If I was going about what you're doing I'd set up SVN, PostgreSQL, Apache and Python, then make sure they're all working (check the manuals for each to find out how). I'd then install Mod-wsgi, Trac and Genshi, to test if trac and genshi are working you can run the tracd server (check the trac wiki).
