In http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/8089#comment:7 I asked a question
about the

ALTER TABLE `table_name` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_bin;

command that it said should be used. I asked on March 25, 2009
whether we should use CONVERT instead of DEFAULT.

ALTER TABLE `table_name` CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE
utf8_bin;

This was in regards to changing the tables from MyISAM to InnoDB.

Since I never received a reply I used the DEFAULT and not the
CONVERT. Other MySQL users may have done the same. My question now
is, "should I run the "CONVERT" command on my tables now.

The http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/MySqlDb page has been modified to
now show CONVERT instead of DEFAULT.

Our database has been working ok but am I at risk?

Please look at http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/8089 for more details
and other questions I had on this issue.

Thank you.
