Yep, I tried logging back in and it worked properly. No BASIC auth prompt came up, though. It seems my browser (Firefox 3.5.8) handled everything behind the scenes - closing the browser and removing all private information (cookies, cache etc.) allowed me to get the BASIC auth prompt again and login as another user.
