Hello !
As (some of) you should know, I published a Trac environment @
opensvn.csie.org in order to preview the features included in TracGViz
plugin and, before the catastrophic collapse of my SVN client , I also
used the SVN hosting space they offered in order to manage the source
code as well (now I use Hg @ SF.net ;o) . This environment was very
important because Google Visualization API is designed and is offered
by Google mainly to be used in public web sites. Recently OpenSVN has
shut down the service . This means that I won't be able to :
- Ensure that features included in the plugin will work
with the latest version of each Google Visualization and
corresponding gadgets
- Test the plugin in a real scenario .
- Write working examples and tutorials in order to provide
support for end users , and document the different parts
of the plugin
- Enhance some aspects of the plugin that require
online access to a public Trac instance .
Besides :
- I cannot do anything like that at TH.org , and that won't be
possible in a near future :(
- (AFAIK) Sourceforge doesn't provide either enough access
to the Trac instance (hosted app) created for SF projects , so
I can't try to do this there either :( .
- (AFAIK) GViz API TOS doesn't allow offline use at this
moment
Moreover, TracGViz 1.4.1 is almost ready since 4 months ago . It
includes many new features that are ready to be previewed (including
support for GViz Query Language, on-the-fly file conversion, and more
...) , but I've not been able to release the new version because of
all these limitations , mainly because I've not been able to try them
out so I cannot ensure they will work .
Therefore , I'd appreciate if somebody could tell me about a *FREE*
Trac hosting provider where I can either upload the previous Trac
environment or install TracGViz plugin from scratch and import
previous data, and then configure the details needed to make it work .
The goal is to continue its development and enhance what's already
been done . Any help in order to contribute to the development of the
plugin will be welcome . If anybody is interested in offering support
, please don't hesitate to contact me (if you prefer send me a private
reply ;o).
Thanks in advance !
PS: I apologize if I caused any trouble , since this is a little bit
OT . Hope you understand .

Olemis.
