We experienced some trouble with the various IE variants.  I believe the
solution that seemed to work for us was adding the following to the http
conf file:

BrowserMatch ".*MSIE.*" \
         nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown \
         downgrade-1.0 force-response-1.0

Do you have anything like this in your conf?
