I have been using the timeline to remind me which tasks I have worked on in a given week. This allows me to then fill in our dreaded time reports here at work (an evil MS-java only app...). I would like to explore the possibility of enhancing what is listed for, say, tickets. For example, is it reasonable to add that the value of some custom field is also listed? In my case, we have a project number, which is a 'text' variable. It is of course available in the ticket view. But having it in the timeline would help make this painful task somewhat less unpleasant.
I have considered other approaches. Like a custom ticket query. The shortcoming is that subversion commits and other activity are not listed. And seeing those helps us to complete our view of where time was spent. So the timeline seems the best place for this. Pointers are very welcome. -- Roger Oberholtzer -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
