I have Trac configured to get the user’s CN directly from a smartcard card. The CN (e.g. SMITH.JOHN.1234567890) is successfully passed to the Trac as the username. However, if I try to add this person as an admin using
$ trac-admin /data/trac/nedit permission add SMITH.JOHN.1234567890 TRAC_ADMIN I get an error: Error: All upper-cased tokens are reserved for permission names I believe it thinks the username is a permission name since all the letters are upper case.
