I'm running Ubuntu. I might switch to a different distribution at some
point ('not that stoked on Unity).

I've used Trac as an enduser, but never as an admin. So I know I like how
it works for users.

1) Is it better to use the Ubuntu-packaged (or other distribution) Trac, or
to get Trac via easy_install, or what? I'm particularly thinking about the
impact of subsequent OS upgrades and security issues.

2) I already have an SVN set up, that didn't come with a trac. Is it best
to allow Trac to set up a second SVN, and then transfer my existing repo to
the new one?

3) Does Trac support an easy way of setting SVN up so that user a can write
to SVN hierarchy s, and user b can write to SVN hierarchy t?

Thanks!
