Hi!

I'm forwarding this post to trac-users ML which is a more appropriate
place to make this kind of announcements .

Is this similar to what TracGViz plugin does since some time ago ? How
much does it differ ?
Anyways , good to know we have some competition out there
;)

If you need any help please ... but honestly I wanted to ask you
something :

Q:
- Would you like to join efforts and contribute to TracGViz
development instead ?
I think I'll have more time for this in the next few days and
honestly I'm in favor of
aggregate similar solutions in a single plugin and join forces to
achieve similar goals ;)

Features impolemented in there :

- Embed any gadget anywhere WikiFormatting is supported (this includes
visualisation gadgets ;)
- RPC handlers for timeline , reports , ...
- Extension point to implement GViz API data sources
- Gadget aliases
- Inline TracLinks expansion (to refer to local data sources e.g.
attached files , files under version control , local GViz
datasources , etc ...)
- Basic GViz QL support (QL = query language) <= high priority TODO
- Unit tests

If there were any differences (I'll check ASAIC ;) , as there may be
some differences , would you mind
merging these as part of TracGViz plugin . No need to do that , but
honestly if
we join forces I guess a more complete visualization solution may be
built
;)

PS: In any case good to know you are also working on this . Hope we
can work together
to have a more complete charts solution
;)

PS: PS: You can read the docs about TracGViz plugin in here
http://projects.olemix.com/trac/wiki/En/Devel/TracGViz
Nonetheless widgets (gadgets, charts , ...) will not be displayed at
present because I've not installed and configured the plugin in there
yet . This will be ready soon.
