After couple of stressful hours I mange to make it work. I have no idea what went wrong. The base trac directory is /usr/trace/dev but somehow its broken. I created a new env and replaced trac.ini form broken trac. So here is the quick ugly fix: 0) trac-admin /usr/trac/dev_patch initenv 1) cp /usr/trac/dev/conf/trac.ini /usr/trac/dev_patch/conf/trac.ini 2) tracd --port 8001 usr/trac/dev_patch If it does not work then try to enable stderr in trac.ini and try again. This works with tracd.
