I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to do, but it sounds like it might be similar to the AutcompleteUsersPlugin, which serves data to a jQuery UI plugin through a `/subjects` page. http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/AutocompleteUsersPlugin It sounds like you have it working though, so I'd be interested if you have found a different or better way. What data are you trying to provide to jQuery UI?
