Thanks, that's worked for me although for some reason I don't have a site.css file (!) so I had to add it to stylesheet.css instead.

Try it at http://trac.edgewall.org/demo-0.13 by resizing your browser window. Alternatively you can get more-or-less the same behaviour in your existing version by changing .nav li {display:inline} to .nav li {display:inline-block}.
