This largely depends on your setting for option 'default_query' in
trac.ini section '[query]'.
Mine, the default ("status!=closed&cc~=$USER"), shouldn?t cause any
error, if you use an unpatched Trac accompanied by no or only
trustworthy Trac plugin code.
