Some of the users have been reporting issues whereby the ticket can't be sent
out. I noticed it's because the domain was not removed from the user name.
Warning: The ticket has been created, but an error occurred while sending
notifications: {u'somebody': (550, '5.1.1 <somebody>: Recipient address
rejected: User unknown in local recipient table'), u'domain\\username': (550,
'5.1.1 <domainusername>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local
recipient table')}

According to this page:
http://trac.edgewall.org/attachment/ticket/7203/Trac-0.11b2-strip-domain.2.patch,
 there alreay seems to be a patch in place 4 years ago.
I am currently on Trac version 2.5.5.

Is there a setting in trac.ini that I can set to remove the domain?
I tried notifications > ignore_domain but that didn't seem to work.
