Hello Experts,

My team is using Trac to manage our projects, wiki, milestones, very
useful! We now have a requirement that hope our trac to support full-text
search.

I saw one of your developer present a plugin with Apache Solr this year,
quite interesting. I may have some questions about full-text search, could
you please give me some clues?

1. The plug in sounds amazing, but is that any other way to implement this
feature by ourselves. The idea I thought before is using Apache Nutch to
crawl Trac web page, then import urls indexing into Solr sever, so this may
not need add this plug in. But this seem not work, since looks like Trac's
file structure is not the same as normal website. I wonder is there any way
to use web crawler tool to fetch web page and urls in Trac?

2. I noticed this plugin is still under development, so that means we might
still need add some patch in the future, right? We might concern about its
stability for now.

Thanks in advance for your reply!
